Brandon Corey netted a hat trick to lead Roc City over Syracuse, 5-3.

Corey's first goal came 12:02 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:14 into the third and at 10:09 into the third.

Cameron Clark also scored for Roc City. Other players who recorded assists for Roc City were Aidan Conolly, who had two, Anthony DePetres, who had three, and Robert Vasta and Sam Haile, who contributed one each.

Roc City was unable to stop Syracuse from sending pucks towards the net, and Syracuse eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Syracuse was led by Rocco DeRollo, who finished with one goal and one assist. DeRollo scored on the power play 5:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Syracuse. Syracuse had taken the advantage when Roc City's Sam Cammilleri got sent off for hooking. Others who scored for Syracuse included Jag Masters and Hunter Soden, who scored one goal each. In addition, Syracuse received assists from Raymond Rowe and Ludovic Scott, who each chipped in one.

Roc City's Ian Stahl stopped 30 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Roc City incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Kyle VanWagner rejected 24 shots on goal for Syracuse. Syracuse incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
