Jersey Shore blows out Syracuse, 3-0

Jersey Shore had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 3-0 win over Syracuse.

Jersey Shore was sparked by Jared Karas, who tallied one goal. Karas scored 5:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Jersey Shore. Zach Roth picked up the assist.

Jersey Shore stifled Syracuse's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Jersey Shore did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Jersey Shore puts an average of 6.5 pucks into the net per game. Jersey Shore's defense was surprisingly good. Jersey Shore gives up 2.3 goals on average per game. Jersey Shore kept Syracuse's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kyle VanWagner made 34 saves on 37 shots.
