Jersey Shore's Christian Cooley had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 9-3 win over Roc City.

Cooley found the back of the net 11:33 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Jersey Shore and again while 1:52 into the second to make the score 7-1 Jersey Shore.

Jersey Shore's penalty kill excelled, as Jersey Shore gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 18:14 into the third period. Three fighting penalties were dished out along with five game misconducts.

Jersey Shore was often in penalty trouble, totaling eight minors and one major for 61 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 25.0 minutes per game Jersey Shore had been spending in the box. Roc City racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and two majors for 62 minutes in penalty time. Roc City surpassed its season average of 31.0 penalty minutes per game. Jersey Shore was unable to stop Roc City from sending pucks towards the net, and Roc City eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

Roc City was helped by Matthew Simoncelli, who registered one goal. Simoncelli scored 2:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Roc City. Bryan Smith assisted on the tally. Roc City additionally got points from Anthony DePetres, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Roc City also got a goal from Aidan Conolly as well. In addition, Roc City received assists from Matt Corey, who had two.

Scott Albertoni made 36 saves for Jersey Shore on 39 shots. Jersey Shore registered two goals on five power play opportunities. Team's Villeneuve and Valvo were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. For Roc City, Joseph Gardner and Mike Elliott were ejected from the contest.
