Behind two goals from Brandon Corey and two goals Jesse Orenius, Roc City downed Wilkes-Barre 6-3.

Corey scored the first of his two goals at 13:02 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Anthony DePetres provided the assist. Corey's next tally made the score 5-3 Roc City with 16:00 left in the third period. Roc City had gotten the advantage when Wilkes-Barre's Darrin Bruce Jr was sent off for elbowing. DePetres picked up the assist. Orenius scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 10:15 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Wilkes-Barre. Roc City had gained a power play chance when Dalton Olive was whistled for too many men. Jared Tam-Grimshaw assisted on the tally. Orenius' next tally on the power play made the score 3-3 with 2:08 left in the second period. Roc City earned a power play opportunity when Ryan Karpovich was put in the box for too many men. Cameron Clark picked up the assist.

Wilkes-Barre's power play was ineffective against Roc City's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Roc City also had goals scored by Joseph Gardner and Zach Bucholz, who scored one goal each.

Wilkes-Barre was often in penalty trouble, totaling 10 minors and two majors for 60 minutes in penalty time. Wilkes-Barre surpassed its season average of 36.0 penalty minutes per game. Roc City was unable to stop Wilkes-Barre from sending pucks towards the net, and Wilkes-Barre eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Wilkes-Barre was led by Ryan Flanagan, who tallied two goals. Flanagan scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 1:38 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wilkes-Barre.
