Eric Hewitt gave New York a 5-4 (OT) victory over Roc City when he scored 3:02 into the extra period.

New York got the win thanks to a great game by Hewitt, who had two goals and two assists. Hewitt scored the first of his two goals at 19:55 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Michael House picked up the assist. Hewitt's next tally made the score 5-4 New York with 16:58 left in overtime. Jimmy Warrick assisted on the tally.

New York forced Roc City goalie Quinton Rose to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
