Skylands wins tough contest against New England, 3-2Skate 3 Arena Sat, Oct 24, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Skylands gutted out a close 3-2 win against New England. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Hunter Ledwith secured the win for Skylands with a goal in the third period. Skylands got the win thanks to a great game by Ledwith, who had two goals and one assist. Ledwith scored the first of his two goals at 12:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Skylands. Cory Decosta assisted on the tally. Ledwith's next tally made the score 3-2 Skylands with 3:19 left in the third period. Ernest Komarnitskii picked up the assist. Skylands also got points from Komarnitskii, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Skylands were Cole Skelly, who had one and Tim Vant, who had two.
