Northeast fell behind early, and Lockport kept piling on the points on the way to a 13-3 victory. Dylan Jenkins had two goals and two assists to lead Lockport. Jenkins scored the first of his two goals at 1:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lockport. Erick Santiago provided the assist. Jenkins' next tally made the score 6-1 Lockport with 18:08 left in the second period. Andrew Logar picked up the assist. Northeast's power play was ineffective against Lockport's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Lockport forced Northeast's goalies to work between the pipes, totaling 44 shots and forcing 31 saves. Steven Murphy made 31 stops and Leo Lake made zero. Lockport surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Lockport averages 5.0 goals per game. Lockport's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Lockport finished with 40 penalty minutes. Lockport also got points from Santiago, who also registered two goals and two assists, Frank II Vecchio, who also had one goal and three assists, and Mark Friol, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Sam Rydzewski also scored for Lockport. In addition, Lockport received assists from Ryan Logar, who had two, Greg Terlov, who had three, and Anthony Tomassi, Gibson Stuart, Nicholas Wilcox, Fankie Bodami, Joseph Como, and Devin Kasperek, who each chipped in one. Northeast put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Lockport to score on any of its six power plays. Bellew scored on the power play 4:37 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Northeast had gotten the advantage when Lockport's Stuart was sent off for slashing. Travis Hyde assisted on the tally. Northeast additionally got points from Austin Braley, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Northeast also got a goal from Kevin Perry as well. More assists for Northeast came via Paul MacDonald, who had two and Chris McHugh and Derric Trudeau, who contributed one each.
