Lockport outlasts Maine, 6-4

Lockport gutted out a close 6-4 win against Maine.

Lockport gained the winning advantage on a goal by Devin Kasperek 17:52 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Ryan Logar was all over the ice for Lockport, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Logar scored the first of his two goals at 10:52 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Maine. Logar's next tally made the score 6-4 Lockport with 12 seconds left in the third period. Mark Friol picked up the assist.

Lockport's offense rang up 39 shots on Maine's net.

Lockport also got points from Friol, who also registered one goal and one assist, Andrew Logar, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Dylan Jenkins, who also had one goal and one assist.

Maine was led by Noel Fischer, who finished with two goals and two assists. Fischer scored the first of his two goals at 10:46 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Chris King assisted on the tally. Fischer's next tally made the score 3-2 Maine with 18:31 left in the third period. Zach Gagne picked up the assist. Maine additionally got points from Matt Jerome, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Maine also got a goal from Hunter Morgan as well. More assists for Maine came via Jordy Knoren, who had one.

Sal Stalteri rejected 20 shots on goal for Lockport. Lockport incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Brandon Daigle made 33 saves for Maine on 38 shots. Maine incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
