Skylands tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Syracuse would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. A goal by Hunter Soden put Syracuse up 3-1 in the third period, but Skylands pulled to within one on Hunter Ledwith's tally 9:41 into the third period.
