Paige leads New England over Roc City, 5-2Skate 3 Arena - Red Rink Fri, Oct 09, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
New England's Tim Paige had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over Roc City. Paige found the back of the net 3:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 New England and again while 16:06 into the third to make the score 5-1 New England.New England's penalty kill excelled, as New England gave up one goal despite allowing 10 power plays. Roc City was unable to stop New England from sending pucks towards the net, and New England eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. New England could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 44 minutes in penalties during the game. New England also got a goal from Ryan Gauvin as well. Other players who recorded assists for New England were Brendan Miller, who had two and Brian Glover, Kyle Weiss, Nick Johnson, and John Krapian, who each chipped in one. Roc City forced New England goalie Devyn Levesque to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Roc City was led by Joey Saraceni, who tallied one goal and one assist. Saraceni scored on the power play 15:21 into the third period to make the score 4-1 New England. A unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Brandon Hamner had put Roc City on the power play. Cameron Clark assisted on the tally. Cole Whitehead also scored for Roc City. In addition, Roc City received assists from Aidan Conolly and Sam Cammilleri, who contributed one each. Devyn Levesque made 30 saves for New England on 32 shots. New England registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Justin Nevinger recorded 28 saves for Roc City. Roc City ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major.
