Rehbaum's hat trick boosts Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) over Chicago Fury (mm), 5-1

Zachary Rehbaum netted a hat trick to lead Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) over Chicago Fury (mm), 5-1.

Rehbaum's first goal came 8:54 into the second period. He then added goals at 14:12 into the second and at 17:31 into the third.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm)'s Justin Stotz was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 38 saves and let only one puck past him. Stotz certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.65 entering the contest.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Chicago Fury (mm) power plays. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) kept Chicago Fury (mm)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and Nikolaos Manetas made 35 saves on 40 shots.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) also got points from Harrison Craffey, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Matthew Palmer also scored for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm). In addition, Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) received assists from Bryan Bylsma, who had two and Matthew Doyle, Maison Fadale, Christopher Blachowski, Jackson Vanderbosch, and Trevor Bednarek, who contributed one each.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) was unable to stop Chicago Fury (mm) from sending pucks towards the net, and Chicago Fury (mm) eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

Chicago Fury (mm) was led by Elliot Barton, who scored the team's only goal. Barton scored 12:37 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm). Michael Urtis assisted on the tally.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Chicago Fury (mm) incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
