Huge game by LOUGHRAN boosts Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) over Thunder AAA Hockey, 5-1

GRIFFIN LOUGHRAN was all over the ice for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM), as he tallied one goal and three assists in Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM)'s 5-1 win over Thunder AAA Hockey.

LOUGHRAN beat TRISTIN KUEHN with a shot 4:12 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM). Matthew Novo assisted on the tally. LOUGHRAN dished an assist on Adam Tretowicz's goal that made the score 1-0 Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) at 2:22 into the first period. He then added assists on ANTHONY HORA's goal at 7:28 into the second and on Tretowicz's goal at 14:46 into the third.

Thunder AAA Hockey was stymied by Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM)'s netminder ALEX CAMARRE, who stopped 30 shots during the victory. CAMARRE managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.93 prior to the game.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Thunder AAA Hockey to score on any of its three power plays. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) kept Thunder AAA Hockey's goalie busy throughout the game, and KUEHN made 32 saves on 37 shots.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) also got points from Tretowicz, who also had two goals and one assist. Michael Sciore also scored for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM). More assists for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) came via MITCHELL HALE, who had one.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) was unable to stop Thunder AAA Hockey from sending pucks towards the net, and Thunder AAA Hockey eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Thunder AAA Hockey was led by RENARS KRASTENBERGS, who scored the team's only goal. KRASTENBERGS scored 16:33 into the first period to make the score 1-1. TYLER RUNYAN provided the assist.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Thunder AAA Hockey incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
