Chris Chaddock was all over the ice for the Brockville Braves, as he tallied two goals in Brockville's 4-1 win over the Hawkesbury Hawks. Chaddock found the back of the net 1:30 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Brockville and again while on the power play 1:19 into the third to make the score 3-1 Brockville.The Braves were led by goalie Henry Johnson, who finished with 40 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Johnson will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.77. Brockville excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Brockville also got points from Eric Faith, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Brockville also got a goal from Ian Johnston as well. In addition, Brockville received assists from Andrew Jarvis, who had two and Jack Billings, Vincenzo Renda, Tre Folkes, Jack Gill, and Cameron Crotty, who each chipped in one. Hawkesbury was held below its usual level of production. The Hawks average 3.7 goals per game. The Braves were unable to stop Hawkesbury from sending pucks towards the net, and the Hawks eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. Hawkesbury was led by Chris Smith, who scored the team's only goal. Smith scored 16:06 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Brockville. Ryan Bunka picked up the assist. Brockville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
