Behind a great game by Cole Busschaert, who had one goal and two assists, the Smiths Falls Bears defeated the Gloucester Rangers, 6-3.

Busschaert scored 10:55 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Smiths Falls. Sander Boroczky provided the assist.

In a losing effort, Gloucester was led by Jordan Renaud, who registered two goals. Renaud scored the first of his two goals at 8:18 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Smiths Falls. Boroczky picked up the assist. Renaud's next tally made the score 5-3 Smiths Falls with 6:07 left in the third period. Boroczky assisted on the tally.

Smiths Falls surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Bears have scored at the pace of 3.8 goals per game during the current campaign.

Smiths Falls also had goals scored by Nicolas Coates, who had two and Sterling Bray, Joey Rutkowski, and Anthony DiPlacido, who scored one goal each. In addition, Smiths Falls received assists from Tristan Whynot, Caleb Perez, Broydon Stufko, Chris Karabassis, and Matthew Kenney, who each chipped in one and Josh Leblanc and Michael McKenney, who contributed two each.

Gloucester also got a goal from Paul Vella as well. Other players who recorded assists for Gloucester were Shane McCrank, who had two and Salim Mahi-Beaudry and Vincent Guimond, who each chipped in one.

Smiths Falls' Dyllan Lubbesmeyer stopped 15 shots out of the 18 that he faced. The Bears incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Cedric Hansen made 24 saves for the Rangers on 30 shots. Gloucester incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. For the Rangers, Nicholas Ngwafusi was ejected from the game.
