The Cornwall Colts tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Brockville Braves held on for a 3-2 victory. A goal by Neil Robinson put Brockville up 3-1 in the third period, but Cornwall pulled to within one on Nick Lalonde's tally 19:59 into the third period. Robinson had a great game for the Braves, netting two goals. Brockville also got a goal from Sam Jones as well. More assists for Brockville came via Andrew Jarvis, Liam Folkes, and Eric Faith, who each chipped in one. Brockville was unable to stop the Colts from sending pucks towards the net, and Cornwall eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. Cornwall additionally got points from Lawson MacDonald, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Cornwall received assists from Ross Craig, Matthew Morin, and Parker Krol, who contributed one each. The Braves' Henry Johnson stopped 33 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Brockville incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Brett Nichol rejected 22 shots on goal for the Colts. Cornwall incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
