Ottawa boosted by Andriano's play in net, beats Nepean 2-1

Ian Andriano had a standout game with 26 saves, and the Ottawa Senators beat the Nepean Raiders 2-1.

Ottawa was sparked by Jaren Burke, who registered one goal. Burke scored on the power play 11:55 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Ottawa. The Senators earned a power play opportunity when Hunter Garlasco was put in the box for hooking. Isaac Anderson provided the assist.

Ottawa's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Nepean power plays.

Zacharie Car also scored for Ottawa. More assists for Ottawa came via Luke McCaw, who had one.

Nepean was led by Samuel Meisenheimer, who scored the team's only goal. Meisenheimer scored 40 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1. William Cullen picked up the assist.

The Senators incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Francis Marotte recorded 22 saves for the Raiders. Nepean incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
