Thunder AAA Hockey tried its best to erase a four-goal deficit, but Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) made the score 4-0 on a goal by Zachary Kiser at 14:04 in the second period, and Thunder AAA Hockey got as close as 5-4 when JAKE FRIEDMAN scored 16:46 into the third period.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) stifled Thunder AAA Hockey's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) was helped by Nicholas Schultze, who finished with one goal. Schultze scored 2:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM). Thunder AAA Hockey put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) to score on any of its seven power plays. Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) was unable to stop Thunder AAA Hockey from sending pucks towards the net, and Thunder AAA Hockey eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
