Daniel Sarracco registered one point to lead the Ottawa Senators to a 3-1 victory over the Pembroke Lumber Kings. Ottawa's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Pembroke power plays. The Senators forced Pembroke goalie Boyd Diclemente to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. Others who scored for Ottawa included Brett Van Stralen and Mitchell Gibson, who scored one goal each. In addition, Ottawa received assists from Zachary Cross, who had two and Sean Rappleyea, Jared Leslie, Johnathan Kovacevic, and Samuel Meisenheimer, who each chipped in one. The Lumber Kings stifled Ottawa's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Pembroke was led by Cale List, who scored the team's only goal. List scored 11:20 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Ottawa. Chris Minns picked up the assist. Ian Andriano made 15 saves for the Senators on 16 shots. Ottawa totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-5 on the power play. For the Senators, William Cullen was ejected from the game. Diclemente recorded 38 saves for the Lumber Kings. Pembroke ended with 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors and two majors. Team's Brandon Zullo and Alex Gilmour were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
