The Brockville Braves took the lead against the Hawkesbury Hawks in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 4-2 victory. A goal 1:55 into the first period by Michael Murray proved to be the game winner, and powered Brockville to the victory. Sam Jones provided the assist.The Braves were led by Andrew Jarvis, who had one goal. Jarvis scored on the power play 6:14 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Brockville. Brockville had gained a power play chance when Vincent Crivello was whistled for holding. Ian Johnston picked up the assist. The Braves managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Brockville ended up below its season average of 15.0 penalty minutes per game. Brockville additionally got points from Jack Billings, who also registered one goal and one assist and Johnston, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Brockville received assists from Vincenzo Renda, Neil Robinson, and Jack Gill, who contributed one each. Hawkesbury forced the Braves goalie Michael Cerasuolo to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. The Hawks were helped by Chris Smith, who tallied one goal.
