Brockville boosted by Johnson's play in net, beats Kanata 4-1

Henry Johnson stood on his head and made 31 saves to lead the Brockville Braves to a 4-1 victory over the Kanata Lasers.

Brockville was led by Andrew Jarvis, who had one goal. Jarvis scored 4:41 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Brockville. Ryan Orgel picked up the assist.

The Braves forced Kanata's goalies to work all game long, taking 37 shots and forcing 33 saves. Alex Butler made two stops and Evan Moyse made 31. Brockville put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Lasers to score on any of their five power plays.

Brockville also got points from Liam Folkes, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Brockville also had goals scored by Jack Billings and Eric Faith, who scored one goal each. More assists for Brockville came via Tre Folkes, who had two and Thomas Dunleavy and Neil Robinson, who contributed one each.

Kanata's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Brockville power plays. The Lasers' offense rang up 32 shots on the Braves' net.

Kanata was led by Quinn Pollock, who scored the team's only goal. Pollock scored 32 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-1 Brockville. Mike McArthur assisted on the tally.

Brockville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Lasers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
