Huge game by Smith boosts Hawkesbury over Kemptville, 6-2Robert Hartley Sports Complex1 Fri, Oct 23, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Hawkesbury Hawks' Chris Smith had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-2 win over the Kemptville 73s. Smith scored at 7:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hawkesbury and again while 17:38 into the third to make the score 4-2 Hawkesbury.Hawkesbury stifled Kemptville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The 73s were unable to stop the Hawks from sending pucks towards the net, and Hawkesbury eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. The Hawks outdid their season average for goals scored.
