The Ottawa Senators and the Cornwall Colts were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Ottawa made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Salim Mahi-Beaudry secured the win for the Senators with a goal in the third period.

Ottawa was paced by Mahi-Beaudry, who finished with one goal. Mahi-Beaudry scored 11:31 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Ottawa. Kyle Hillick provided the assist.

The Colts were helped by Nick Lalonde, who had one goal. Lalonde scored 16:24 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cornwall. Tristan Elie picked up the assist.
