Carleton Place rolls over Gloucester, 7-2Rockland CIHA Fri, Oct 09, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Carleton Place Canadians had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-2 win over the Gloucester Rangers. Carleton Place was led by Jordan Larson, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Larson scored 18:20 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Carleton Place. Lucas Batt picked up the assist. The Canadians forced Rangers' netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 43 shots and forcing 36 saves. Cedric Hansen made 16 stops and Doug Johnston made 20. Nicholas Ngwafusi assisted on the tally. Gloucester additionally got points from Matt Adams, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Adrian Clark recorded 14 saves for Carleton Place. The Canadians incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Rangers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
