The Kemptville 73s tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the Smiths Falls Bears held on for a 3-2 victory.

Smiths Falls made the score 3-0 on a goal by Kevin Groulx at 16:06 in the second period, and Kemptville got as close as 3-2 when Jason Tackett scored 2:47 into the third period.
