Robinson's big game bests Kanata in 5-1 Brockville winBrockville Memorial Centre Sun, Sep 27, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Brockville Braves' Neil Robinson had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-1 win over the Kanata Lasers. Robinson found the back of the net on the power play 9:02 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Brockville and again while 17 seconds into the third to make the score 3-1 Brockville.Brockville was led by goalie Michael Cerasuolo, who finished with 29 saves while allowing one goal. Kanata was unable to stop the Braves from sending pucks towards the net, and Brockville eventually piled up 49 shots on goal. Brockville also got points from Liam Folkes, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Brockville included Alexander Sifton and Jack Billings, who each put in one. More assists for Brockville came via Tre Folkes, who had two and Ryan Orgel, Jacob Moreau, Jesse Kestenbaum, Kyle Orgel, and Eric Faith, who contributed one each. The Lasers were led by Cole Lussier, who scored the team's only goal. Lussier scored 19:29 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Brockville. Matt Kashan assisted on the tally. The Braves incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Kanata's Alex Butler stopped 44 shots out of the 49 that he faced. The Lasers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
