In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Kemptville 73s escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Brockville Braves.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Victor Tracy secured the win for Kemptville with a goal in the third period.

Tracy was all over the ice for the 73s, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Tracy scored the first of his two goals at 11:54 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Alex Row assisted on the tally. Tracy's next tally made the score 3-2 Kemptville with 5:33 left in the third period. Quinn Wichers picked up the assist.

Kemptville also got points from Jason Tackett, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Kemptville were Cameron Russell, who had one.

Brockville excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Braves' offense rang up 33 shots on Kemptville's net.

Brockville was helped by Jacob Moreau, who racked up one goal. Moreau scored 3:11 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brockville. Mike McArthur provided the assist. Tre Folkes also scored for Brockville. In addition, Brockville received assists from Jack Billings, who had one.
