Brockville outlasts Kanata, 4-3Kanata Recreational Complex Thu, Sep 24, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The game between the Brockville Braves and the Kanata Lasers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Brockville emerged with a 4-3 win. The Braves gained the winning advantage on a goal by Jacob Moreau 10:05 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. Kanata was unable to stop Brockville from sending pucks towards the net, and the Braves eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Brockville also had goals scored by Kyle Orgel, Eric Faith, and Cameron Crotty, who scored one goal each. More assists for Brockville came via Vincenzo Renda and Michael Murray, who each chipped in one. The Lasers were led by Ian Johnston, who finished with one goal and two assists. Johnston scored 13:12 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Bennett Altman assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Kanata included Michael Locatelli and Roshen Jaswal, who each put in one. In addition, Kanata received assists from Nicholas Graveline and Cody Bean, who contributed one each. Henry Johnson recorded 26 saves for Brockville. The Braves incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Alex Butler made 36 saves for Kanata on 40 shots. The Lasers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
