The Brockville Braves, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by the Pembroke Lumber Kings and clinched a 3-1 victory. Brockville led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Braves' Jack Billings scored at 19:42 in the third period to put Brockville up 4-1. The Braves were led by goalie Michael Cerasuolo, who finished with 33 saves while allowing one goal. Despite the solid performance, Cerasuolo will actually see his goals against average rise, as it stood at 1.0 entering the contest. Brockville's penalty kill excelled, as the Braves gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Brockville stifled Pembroke's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Lumber Kings were unable to stop the Braves from sending pucks towards the net, and Brockville eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Brockville also had goals scored by Jacob Moreau and Neil Robinson, who scored one goal each. In addition, Brockville received assists from Vincenzo Renda, Andrew Jarvis, and Liam Folkes, who contributed one each. Pembroke's offense rang up 34 shots on the Braves' net. The Lumber Kings were led by Chris Minns, who scored the team's only goal. Minns scored 8:51 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Brockville. Kris Lalonde provided the assist. Brockville incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Gabe Mollot-Hill rejected 29 shots on goal for Pembroke. The Lumber Kings incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
