Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) rolls over San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM), 5-2

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM).

SCOTT RAMAEKERS had two goals to lead Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) to victory. RAMAEKERS found the back of the net 15:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) and again while 6:05 into the second to make the score 2-2.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) also had goals scored by GRIFFIN LOUGHRAN, Adam Tretowicz, and Andrew Husted, who each put in one. In addition, Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) received assists from ANTHONY HORA, JOE MARSZALEK, Michael Sciore, and JARED MURRAY, who contributed one each.

San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM) managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM) finished below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game.

San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM) was helped by Jacob Nelson, who racked up one goal. Nelson scored 2:12 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Kyle Moore also scored for San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM). More assists for San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM) came via Tyler Buchanan, who had one.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) took out Shawn Schneider after he had made five saves and installed ALEX CAMARRE in goal, where he finished with 20 saves and the win.
