Colorado Rampage (MM) wins tough contest against Boston Advantage (MM), 5-3

Colorado Rampage (MM) and Boston Advantage (MM) were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Colorado Rampage (MM) made the most of its opportunities and won, 5-3.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Riley Buller's goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker.

Colorado Rampage (MM) was led by Tyler Millar, who had two goals. Millar scored the first of his two goals at 9:20 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Boston Advantage (MM). Millar's next tally made the score 5-3 Colorado Rampage (MM) with 4:11 left in the third period. Colorado Rampage (MM) earned a power play opportunity when Jake Mckenelley was put in the box for elbowing. Alex Truscott picked up the assist. Others who scored for Colorado Rampage (MM) included Adam Anderson and Mack Starr, who each put in one. More assists for Colorado Rampage (MM) came via Luke Millen, Carson Briske, Rylin Quintana, and Ben Barrett, who each chipped in one.

Boston Advantage (MM) was helped by Matt Egan, who registered two goals. Egan scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 5:32 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Boston Advantage (MM). An interference penalty on Gabe Trujillo had put Boston Advantage (MM) on the power play. Mckenelley provided the assist. Egan's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Colorado Rampage (MM) with 12:52 left in the third period. JD Dietrich assisted on the tally. Boston Advantage (MM) also got points from Dietrich, who also racked up one goal and two assists. In addition, Boston Advantage (MM) received assists from Harrison Piper, who had two.

Karl Zodda rejected 18 shots on goal for Colorado Rampage (MM). Colorado Rampage (MM) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Josh Mayanja recorded 19 saves for Boston Advantage (MM). Boston Advantage (MM) incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
