Angry Dragons' comeback falls short, Crown Royals wins 4-2

Crown Royals came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Angry Dragons, but did just enough to escape with a 4-2 victory.

Crown Royals led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Crown Royals' Adam Courtnall scored at 4:51 in the first period to put Crown Royals up 3-0.

The win gave Crown Royals a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Courtnall had two goals to lead Crown Royals to victory.

Crown Royals additionally got points from Mark Bingham, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Juan Benicky, who also finished with one goal and one assist.

Angry Dragons kept Crown Royals' goalie busy throughout the game, and Ryan Ghuman made 34 saves on 36 shots.

Angry Dragons was helped by Allen Chan, who racked up one goal. Chan scored 15:59 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Crown Royals. Jason Wong also scored for Angry Dragons. More assists for Angry Dragons came via Evan Huie and Robert Williams, who contributed one each.

Crown Royals incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Moreno Stefanon rejected 26 shots on goal for Angry Dragons. Angry Dragons incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
