Stephen Leong netted a hat trick to lead Raging Bulls over MF Hustlers, 11-6.

Leong's first goal came 4:32 into the first period. He then added goals at 18:09 into the first and at 18:21 into the first.

The win gave Raging Bulls a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Raging Bulls kept MF Hustlers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Stanford Hung made 32 saves on 43 shots. Raging Bulls did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Raging Bulls cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on five chances. Raging Bulls' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in six goals.

Raging Bulls also got points from Jeffrey Bloomfield, who also tallied four goals and one assist, Naoki Yamaguchi, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Ron Baldesancho, who also registered one goal and three assists, and Oscar Rodriguez, who also had one goal and four assists. Julian Li also scored for Raging Bulls. In addition, Raging Bulls received assists from Sonny Lui, who had five.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

MF Hustlers was led by Martin Wong, who tallied three goals. MF Hustlers also got a goal from Matt Szczecinski as well. Other players who recorded assists for MF Hustlers were James Hewett and Peter Cheung, who each chipped in one.

Jonathan Leung recorded 16 saves for Raging Bulls. MF Hustlers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
