The Port Perry Mojacks used a three-goal second period to put away the Georgina Ice, 7-2. Port Perry was led by Lucas Berkers, who racked up one goal. Berkers scored on the power play 29 seconds into the second period to make the score 3-1 Port Perry. Jesse Menzies picked up the assist. The Mojacks stifled Georgina's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Ice were unable to stop Port Perry from sending pucks towards the net, and the Mojacks eventually piled up 43 shots on goal. Port Perry surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Mojacks average 4.3 goals per game. The defensemen of Port Perry were also effective in Georgina's zone, and came away with three goals. Port Perry also got points from Matt Trudel, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Graham Lamers, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Konrad Piorkowski, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Port Perry also had goals scored by Andrew Pickering, Kyle Schweda, and Lucas Clark, who scored one goal each. More assists for Port Perry came via Ryan Bernardes and Jeff St. Pierre, who contributed one each. The Ice's offense rang up 35 shots on the Mojacks' net. Georgina found itself short handed often, totaling 36 penalty minutes and allowing eight power plays. The Ice were led by Matthew McIntyre, who finished with one goal. McIntyre scored 7:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Georgina. Geoff Walker also scored for Georgina. Port Perry's Brett Chandler stopped 33 shots out of the 35 that he faced. The Mojacks incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Emilio Gallenero recorded 36 saves for Georgina. The Ice registered zero goals on five power play opportunities. Georgina ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Walker was ejected from the game.
