The Uxbridge Bruins' Daryl Thomson had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 5-1 win over the North Kawartha Knights. Thomson got on the board by slotting home a goal 41 seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 Uxbridge. Jordan Nesbitt picked up the assist. Thomson dished an assist on Patrick Bolahood's goal that made the score 3-1 Uxbridge at 1:25 into the third period. More assists for Uxbridge came via Thomas Swift, who had one and Marco Mastrangelo, who had three. The Knights could not produce up to their normal offensive output. North Kawartha puts an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game. The Knights were led by Shane Patterson, who scored the team's only goal. Patterson scored 4:07 into the first period to make the score 1-0 North Kawartha. Christian Lachapelle provided the assist. The Bruins' Jake Joosten stopped 19 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Uxbridge registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. North Kawartha incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
