The Clarington Eagles had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over the Georgina Ice. Clarington was led by William Lamoureux, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Lamoureux scored 6:12 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Clarington. Braden Gray assisted on the tally. The Eagles excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Georgina was unable to stop Clarington from sending pucks towards the net, and the Eagles eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. Clarington got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game. Clarington also got points from Patrick McAuliffe, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Clarington also had goals scored by Chris Elms, Dylan Howorko, and Darby Medd, who each put in one. In addition, Clarington received assists from Kevin Smith, who had two and Liam Rowe and Brent Hambly, who contributed one each. The Eagles' Mark Robb stopped 23 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Clarington incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Emilio Gallenero rejected 42 shots on goal for Georgina.
