The Port Perry Mojacks and the Lakefield Chiefs were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Port Perry made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2. No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Lucas Clark at 11:09 of the third period. The Mojacks were led by Clark, who tallied one goal. Port Perry kept Lakefield's goalie busy throughout the game, and Michael Christie made 33 saves on 36 shots. Port Perry also had goals scored by Kyle Schweda and Ryan Bernardes, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Port Perry were Lucas Berkers and Mitchell Gustavsen, who contributed one each. The Chiefs were helped by Eric Oosting, who finished with one goal. Oosting scored 4:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lakefield. Colton Armstrong picked up the assist. Lakefield also got a goal from Josh Duggan as well. More assists for Lakefield came via Riley Campbell and Ethan Schott, who each chipped in one. The Mojacks' Blake Shaw stopped 27 shots out of the 29 that he faced. Port Perry incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lakefield incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
