Jesse Douglas gave the North Kawartha Knights a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Georgina Ice when he scored 1:00 into the extra period.

North Kawartha was boosted by Jake Ireland, who turned in a shutout with 33 saves. Ireland certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.31 entering the contest.

The Knights were led by Douglas, who registered one goal.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 10:14 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.

North Kawartha's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled six minors and two majors for 32 minutes in penalty time. North Kawartha registered two goals on 10 power play opportunities. Team's Ethan Coens and Mitch Stewart were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Emilio Gallenero rejected 33 shots on goal for the Ice. For Georgina, Jake Martin and Cameron Cattell were ejected from the contest.
