Jesse Douglas gave the North Kawartha Knights a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Georgina Ice when he scored 1:00 into the extra period. North Kawartha was boosted by Jake Ireland, who turned in a shutout with 33 saves. Ireland certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.31 entering the contest. The Knights were led by Douglas, who registered one goal. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 10:14 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. For Georgina, Jake Martin and Cameron Cattell were ejected from the contest.
