Patrick Bolahood lifted the Uxbridge Bruins to a 6-0 victory with a hat trick against the Georgina Ice.

Bolahood notched his first tally 12:15 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:25 into the second and at 19:02 into the third.

Jake Joosten spearheaded the defensive effort for Uxbridge, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 25 saves for the shutout. Joosten managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.35 prior to the game.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 18:25 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.

The Bruins racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with 12 minors and one major for 39 minutes in penalty time. Uxbridge had been averaging 30.0 minutes in penalties per game. The Bruins stifled Georgina's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Uxbridge's defensive effort looked to be improved. The Bruins gives up 2.9 goals on average per game. The Ice were unable to stop Uxbridge from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bruins eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. Uxbridge bested its season scoring average. This season, the Bruins average 3.5 goals per contest.

Uxbridge also got a goal from Aiden Reilly as well. Other players who recorded assists for Uxbridge were Jordan Nesbitt, who had two, Robert Freckelton, Liam Timewell, and Brady Baker, who contributed one each, and Alex Siblock and Marco Mastrangelo, who each chipped in three.

Georgina excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances. The Ice were hit hard by penalties in the contest, and totaled 11 minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time.

For Uxbridge, Adam Bartholomew, Nicholas Sribny, and Wes Cowie were ejected from the contest. Dawson Barnard made 41 saves for Georgina on 47 shots. The Ice registered zero goals on nine power play opportunities. Georgina ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Ryan Baggs was ejected from the game.
