The Uxbridge Bruins took the lead against the Port Perry Mojacks in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 1-0 victory. A goal 7:47 into the first period by Coby Gardner proved to be the game winner, and powered Uxbridge to the victory. Ryan Miehm provided the assist.Branden Francey spearheaded the defensive effort for the Bruins, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 41 saves for the shutout. The Mojacks' Brett Chandler stopped 34 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Port Perry incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
