Lamers nets hat trick, leads Port Perry to 13-2 win over GeorginaGeorgina Ice Palace Fri, Oct 30, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
A hat trick by Graham Lamers was the highlight in Mojacks' 13-2 win against the Georgina Ice. Lamers notched his first tally 10:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:06 into the first and at 8:30 into the third.The Port Perry Mojacks led 5-1 after the opening frame the first period and maintained a healthy margin after. Port Perry forced Ice's goaltenders to work in net, totaling 42 shots and forcing 29 saves. Emilio Gallenero made 27 stops and Grant Campbell made two. The Mojacks surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Port Perry has scored at the pace of 4.0 goals per game during the current campaign. Port Perry also got points from Mitchell Gustavsen, who also registered one goal and one assist, Jordan McCullough, who also had two goals and one assist, and Lucas Clark, who also registered two goals and one assist. Ben Sheremeta also scored for Port Perry. In addition, Port Perry received assists from Lucas Berkers, who had two, Jeff St. Pierre, who had three, Andrew Pickering, who had four, and Bryce Patterson, Chris Polito, and Ryan Bernardes, who each chipped in one. Georgina was helped by Dustin Brillinger, who finished with one goal. Brillinger scored on the power play 8:22 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Ice had gotten the advantage when the Mojacks' Clark was sent off for roughing. Austin Oosterhuis provided the assist. Georgina also got a goal from Brandon Brown as well. More assists for Georgina came via Bradley Boudreau, Mark Gavrilov, and Bronson Smith, who each chipped in one. Port Perry took out Jacob Lebel APM after he had made two saves and installed Blake Shaw in goal, where he finished with 11 saves and the win. The Mojacks incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Georgina incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
