The Little Britain Merchants' Kenzie Smith had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-4 win over the Lakefield Chiefs. Smith's first goal came 7:46 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:00 into the second, at 13:59 into the second, and at 16:24 into the second.Little Britain's penalty kill excelled, as the Merchants gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays. Little Britain forced Lakefield's goaltenders to work without much rest, getting 42 shots and forcing 35 saves. Brad Smith made 24 stops and Scott Smith made 11. The Merchants outdid their season average for goals scored. Little Britain averages 4.1 goals per game. Little Britain additionally got points from Terry Snoddon, who also registered one goal and one assist.
