Jake Joosten had a standout game with 35 saves, and the Uxbridge Bruins beat the Port Perry Mojacks 2-1.

Uxbridge was led by Dylan Pollard, who had one goal. Pollard scored 16:08 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Uxbridge. Coby Gardner assisted on the tally.

The Bruins stifled Port Perry's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Uxbridge also got points from Gardner, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Uxbridge came via Shane Smith, who had one.

The Mojacks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Port Perry was held below its usual level of production. The Mojacks put an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game. Port Perry's offense rang up 36 shots on Uxbridge's net.

The Mojacks were led by Lucas Clark, who scored the team's only goal. Clark scored 9:58 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Kyle Schweda picked up the assist.

The Bruins incurred 38 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Blake Shaw made 27 saves for Port Perry on 29 shots. The Mojacks totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-4 on the power play. For Port Perry, Clark was ejected from the game.
