Behind a great game by Cody Kean, who had five goals, the Clarington Eagles defeated the Georgina Ice, 10-0.

Kean got on the scoresheet 32 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 15:46 into the second, at 7:30 into the third, at 11:23 into the third, and at 11:35 into the third.

Clarington forced Georgina's goalies to work in net, launching 49 shots and forcing 39 saves. Emilio Gallenero made 28 stops and Grant Campbell made 11. The Eagles put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Ice to score on any of their five power plays. Clarington's defense was surprisingly good. The Eagles gives up 2.1 goals on average per game. Clarington found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Eagles average 7.1 goals per game.

Clarington also got points from Chris Elms, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Justin Holiad, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Collin Weston, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Clarington also had goals scored by Ian Elkins and Jacob Danforth, who scored one goal each. More assists for Clarington came via Liam Rowe, who had five, Austin Collins, Ben Pitchforth, Dylan Howorko, and Jordan Neuman, who each chipped in one, and Mitchell Marchbank, Kevin Smith, and William Lamoureux, who contributed two each.

Clarington's Brett Chandler stopped 15 shots out of the 15 that he faced. The Eagles incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Georgina incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
