Toronto Jr. Canadiens downs Mississauga in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Nicholas Ursitti gave the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Mississauga Chargers when he scored 59 seconds into the extra period.

Ursitti had two goals to lead Toronto Jr. Canadiens to victory.

The Junior Canadiens' offense rang up 63 shots on Mississauga's net.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens also had goals scored by Alex Lee and David Zeppieri, who each put in one. In addition, Toronto Jr. Canadiens received assists from Andrew Mullen, Anthony Trujillo, Adam DeLuca, Sal Filice, Michael Siddall, Nico Gonzalez, and Connor Beck, who contributed one each.

The Chargers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Toronto Jr. Canadiens to score on any of its three power plays.

Mississauga was helped by Brandon Yeamans, who grabbed one goal. Yeamans scored 19:21 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Mackenzie OMahony assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Mississauga included Alexandros Acosta and Aidan Parker, who scored one goal each. More assists for Mississauga came via Scott Docherty, who had two and Mike Choma, Daniel Pereira, and Michael Dischiavi, who each chipped in one.

The Junior Canadiens' Brendan Bonello stopped 25 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Toronto Jr. Canadiens incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Andrew Cipollone made 59 saves for the Chargers on 63 shots. Mississauga incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
