Graham Dynes stood on his head and made 30 saves to lead the Lindsay Muskies to a 2-1 victory over the Orangeville Flyers. Lindsay was led by Braydon Leeking, who had one goal and one assist. Leeking scored 13:38 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Lindsay. Cedric Ralph assisted on the tally. The Muskies forced Orangeville goalie Ruan Badenhorst to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Lindsay also got points from Ralph, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Lindsay came via Matt McNamara and Nick Isaacson, who contributed one each. The Flyers were held below their usual level of production. Orangeville averages 3.4 goals per game. Lindsay was unable to stop the Flyers from sending pucks towards the net, and Orangeville eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. The Flyers were led by Jack Jeffers, who scored the team's only goal. Jeffers scored 3:24 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Orangeville. Lucas Smilsky picked up the assist. The Muskies incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Lindsay ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and James Allen was ejected from the game. Orangeville's Badenhorst stopped 32 shots out of the 34 that he faced. The Flyers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
