The Georgetown Raiders pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the North York Rangers on a clutch goal by Jordan Crocker. Georgetown was paced by Crocker, who racked up one goal and one assist. Crocker scored 1:10 into to make the score 4-3 Georgetown. Josh Dickinson picked up the assist. The Raiders forced Rangers' goalies to work without much rest, taking 34 shots and forcing 30 saves. Jeremie Lintner made 24 stops and Gianluca Baggetta made six. Georgetown stifled North York's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Georgetown additionally got points from Zack Dybowski, who also registered one goal and one assist and Dickinson, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Daniel Hardie also scored for Georgetown. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Arran MacDonald, Ryan Takamatsu, Bailey Molella, Ashur Elliot, and Andrew Court, who contributed one each. The Rangers kept the Raiders' goalie busy throughout the game, and Andrew Masters made 32 saves on 35 shots. North York was helped by Louis Kereakou, who had one goal. Kereakou scored short handed 17:32 into the third period to make the score 3-3. The Rangers were on a disadvantage when Fedor Rudakov went off the ice for boarding. North York also had goals scored by Ted Hunt and Michael Morgan, who scored one goal each. In addition, North York received assists from Grayden Gottschalk and Chris Sekelyk, who each chipped in one. Georgetown incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. North York incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. |
