Chad Burrows gave the Stouffville Spirit a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Orangeville Flyers when he scored 4:05 into the extra period.

Stouffville's penalty kill excelled, as the Spirit gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Stouffville was paced by Burrows, who grabbed one goal.

The Spirit stifled Orangeville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Stouffville forced the Flyers goalie Nicholas Latinovich to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Stouffville also got points from Ryan DaSilva, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Stouffville also got a goal from Kyle Thomas as well. More assists for Stouffville came via Sam Hu, Alex Williamson, Max Novick, Josh Argier, and Christopher Brill-Morgan, who contributed one each.

The Spirit were unable to stop Orangeville from sending pucks towards the net, and the Flyers eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Orangeville was helped by Derek Topatigh, who registered one goal. Topatigh scored 17:33 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Orangeville. Josh DeFarias picked up the assist. James Ranson also scored for Orangeville. In addition, Orangeville received assists from Zack Vukosa and Travis Brown, who each chipped in one.

Aaron Taylor rejected 29 shots on goal for Stouffville. The Spirit incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Latinovich recorded 33 saves for the Flyers. Orangeville incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
