The Burlington Cougars' Chris Cobham scored 2:57 into overtime to beat the Toronto Patriots Patriots, 4-3 (OT).

Burlington was led by Cobham, who registered one goal and one assist.

The Cougars put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Toronto Patriots to score on any of its four power plays. Burlington's offense rang up 60 shots on the Patriots' net.

Others who scored for Burlington included Jordan Peacock, Ben Morris, and James McLaughlin, who scored one goal each. More assists for Burlington came via Mike Faliero, Kevin Dimagno, David Thomson, Stefano Alonzi, David Kiss, Nathan Gomes, and Griffin James, who each chipped in one.

Toronto Patriots forced the Cougars goalie Austin Washkurak to work between the pipes, taking 56 shots.

The Patriots were helped by Noah Robinson, who tallied one goal. Robinson scored 5:55 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Burlington. Louis DiMatteo provided the assist. Toronto Patriots also got points from Mario Ferraro, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Rudi Ying also scored for Toronto Patriots. In addition, Toronto Patriots received assists from Jake Harris, Colton Kalezic, and Jeremy Pullara, who contributed one each.
