Georgetown downs Orangeville, 4-1

Jordan Crocker grabbed one point to lead the Georgetown Raiders to a 4-1 victory over the Orangeville Flyers.

Georgetown put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Orangeville to score on any of its four power plays. The Raiders' offense rang up 52 shots on the Flyers' net.

Georgetown also got a goal from Daniel Hardie as well. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Bailey Molella, who had two and Ryan Takamatsu, Ashur Elliot, Austin Cho, Jack Jacome, Brendan Jacome, and Josh Dickinson, who each chipped in one.

Orangeville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Georgetown power plays. The Flyers' offense operated below their season average. Orangeville averages 3.3 goals per game.

The Flyers were led by Colin Rigney, who scored the team's only goal. Rigney scored 17:19 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Jarret Woon Sam assisted on the tally.

Andrew Masters made 21 saves for Georgetown on 22 shots. The Raiders incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Ruan Badenhorst recorded 48 saves for Orangeville. The Flyers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
