North York blows out Milton, 10-2

The Milton Icehawks had trouble finding ways to stop the North York Rangers, which beat Icehawks, 10-2.

Nick Campoli was all over the ice for North York, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Campoli scored the first of his two goals at 6:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 North York. Jacob DeMaeyer picked up the assist. Campoli's next tally made the score 9-2 North York with 11:05 left in the third period. Keegan Blasby provided the assist.

Milton was unable to stop the Rangers from sending pucks towards the net, and North York eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. The Rangers' goal total was higher than their season average. North York averages 3.9 goals per game.

North York additionally got points from Ted Hunt, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Michael Morgan, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Louis Kereakou, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Chris Sekelyk also scored for North York. In addition, North York received assists from Shawn Tessier, who had two and Jeremy Szabo, Tyler Currie, Ryan Hunt, Grayden Gottschalk, and Adam Giacomin, who each chipped in one.

The Icehawks were helped by Andrew Petrucci, who had two goals. Petrucci scored the first of his two goals at 19:09 into the first period to make the score 3-1 North York. Anthony Filoso assisted on the tally. Petrucci's next tally made the score 7-2 North York with 2:47 left in the second period. Filoso picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for Milton were Graeme MacLean, who had one.

Eric Jackson made 20 saves for the Rangers on 22 shots. North York incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jakob DeVincentis recorded 22 saves for Milton. The Icehawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
